FURUNAYA will open a luxury villa and glamping facility, AWAUMI Fujikawaguchiko Resort (1216-1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture), on July 6. Prior to this, the company began accepting reservations at resortglamping.com.
The resort has a total of 16 resort villas and private cabins on an approximately 7,500 m2 site, each equipped with a natural hot spring and sauna. There are four types of guest villas: “Suite Villa,” “Dog Villa,” “Dome Tent,” and “Private Cabin.
The Suite Villa and Dog Villa are 70m2 rooms with air-conditioning and heating, and are available for private one-bedroom rentals. They are equipped with a dedicated eating area and kitchen space, and can be used for longer stays. The exclusive natural hot spring and sauna room can be used 24 hours a day at any time of the day.
The dog villas are equipped with private dog runs where your dog can also relax, and amenities for your dog such as cages, dishes, pet sheets, and leashes are also provided.
On the other hand, private cabins suitable for group use and large dome tents with a diameter of 7 meters (maximum capacity of 6 people) are designed to feel close to nature. With dedicated facilities such as natural hot springs and restrooms, women and children can also use the facilities without hesitation.
For meals, guests can enjoy BBQ using plenty of local Yamanashi ingredients, or they can choose an overnight stay with no meal plan in which they bring their own ingredients to enjoy an original BBQ. For breakfast, hot sandwiches, salads, yogurt, and milk are served.
Room rates start at 30,000 yen per person for Suite Villa, 31,000 yen per person for Dog Villa, 25,000 yen per person for Dome Tent, and 21,000 yen per person for Private Cabin.
