WILLER EXPRESS will name its new 4-row seat “Prime” and begin operating it on its night service between Tokyo and Nagoya in addition to its night service between Tokyo and Osaka on July 1. Prior to this, the company started accepting reservations on its website.
In the prime, a larger canopy (hood) increases the sense of privacy and makes the space more spacious, allowing the use of smartphones at night without hesitation.
The name “Prime,” meaning “the best” or “wonderful,” was chosen from among 223 names submitted from the general public and in-house. In addition, the canopy has been enlarged and a movable partition has been installed between two adjacent seats, giving the seats a more private feel. This has been likened to the word “private”.
The base fare for prime between Tokyo and Nagoya will start at 4,300 yen.
