TEMZAC announced that its next-generation smart mobility “RODEM” has been introduced to the “MachiMobi” mobility project in Tokyo Midtown Yaesu through Neomobi.
RODEM is a universal design mobility that aims to be barrier-free. It was commercialized after demonstration tests in Denmark, a welfare state, and has undergone a series of public road demonstrations and applied research to make it a city mobility system. This is the first time in Japan that RODEM has been put to practical use for city tours.
The “Machi-mobi” service provides two types of mobility vehicles, the RODEM and the rickshaw, and allows visitors to tour the Yaesu area and Nihonbashi area with a navigator’s commentary, and enjoy the Tokyo Station area from Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, which opened in March.
The tour takes about 1.5 hours and costs 3,800 yen per car.
