Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. announced the start of construction of a lifestyle retail facility, “Mitsui Shopping Park LaLa Terrace Kita Ayase (tentative name)” (4-1-12 Yanaka, Adachi-ku, Tokyo, other lot numbers). The facility is scheduled to open in the summer of 2025.

The proposed site is located in front of Kita Ayase Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and will be directly connected to a pedestrian deck extending from the north ticket gate.

The facility, with four stories above ground and one below, will have a total floor area of approximately 31,700m2, and will feature approximately 50 conveniently located stores, including a supermarket, fashion, sundries, restaurants, and services, to be enjoyed by people of all ages, mainly local residents and Kita Ayase Station users. It will also have a large food court, the first of its kind in the Ayase area.

The company says that the opening of the new station will contribute to the creation of a vibrant town in front of the station, as well as to the realization of a sustainable society, such as through the reduction of CO2 emissions.
