Chubu Snow Alliance will open “Hirugano Picnic Garden,” a highland resort where visitors can enjoy outdoor activities, at Hirugano Kogen Ski Resort (4670-75 Hirugano, Takawase-cho, Gujo, Gifu Prefecture) on July 15.
The Flower Area, located at an elevation of 1,000 meters above sea level, is home to 25,000 begonia plants, the largest in Japan, 6,000 kochia plants, 5,000 corius plants, and other flowers.
At the top of the mountain, there is a “Momoiro Terrace & Cafe” that offers a panoramic view of Dainichigatake and the Hakusan mountain range, where visitors can enjoy drinks and sweets between strolls.
The park also offers a wide range of activities such as zip lines, ATVs, and disc golf, as well as photo spots with realistic animals and dinosaur sculptures, a kids’ play area, and a dock run. The whole family can enjoy a picnic atmosphere.
The green season “Hirugano Picnic Garden” is scheduled to be open until October 15.
