West Japan Railway Company will open the “Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Northwest Gate” (No. 88, Sec. 1, Zhonghua Rd., Wanhua District, Taipei City) on August 1. In advance of this, the company has begun accepting reservations for the hotel.
This is the first expansion into Taiwan for the Nishitetsu Hotel Group. It is also the first Japanese-affiliated hotel in the Ximending area of Taipei City.
The hotel is located in the Ximending area, a downtown area known as “Taiwan’s Harajuku,” lined with clothing and sundry goods stores and restaurants, and is only a 4-minute walk from the Ximending MRT station. The hotel has 298 guest rooms in total, including 4 double rooms and 7 twin rooms, as well as 14 high-grade and triple rooms.
At breakfast, guests can enjoy Chinese (Taiwanese), Japanese, and Western food in buffet style. In addition to offering a menu with a Japanese twist on the standard Taiwanese breakfast, guests will also be able to enjoy Japanese food. The hotel will also have a lounge, business center, fitness gym, and coin-operated laundry.
