In September 2018, the Government of Japan, together with the ASEAN Secretariat and the Government of Thailand, established the AJCCBC in Bangkok, Thailand to serve as a center for security human resource development, and with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, has been developing human resources across ASEAN through the provision of practical cyber defense exercises (CYDER*) and other training The “ASEAN-Japan Capacity Enhancement Program Enhancement Project on Cyber Security and Digital Trust Services” has been launched as a technical cooperation project based on the technical cooperation agreement with the ASEAN Secretariat, scheduled for four years from March 2023.
