In September, Nakae Architects will open “HITOTSU NOTOJIMA,” a resort featuring the delicacies of Noto Island, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Designed by local architect Yuji Nakanaga, this auberge has been fully renovated from the skeleton up. Under the supervision of Koji Mitsukawa, the proprietor of Sushi Mitsukawa, which has its main restaurant in Kanazawa, guests can enjoy high quality ingredients produced locally for local consumption, as well as a bar lounge where they can enjoy local sake, beer, and original cocktails on an all-inclusive basis, and a spa that can be used for private parties.
Two of the guest rooms, limited to eight couples, have their own in-room saunas, and the hotel also offers a full range of activities to enjoy Nanao Bay, including touring, swimming, kayaking, and other activities.
