On July 3, ANA and JCB began issuing the ANA JCB Card, which is partially made from plant-derived materials (biomass).
This is the first credit card using biomass base material for an airline company in Japan, and compared to the existing incineration of petroleum-based cards, it can reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 3.9g per card. Two types of cards will be issued: the ANA JCB General Card and the ANA JCB Wide Gold Card.
