Free relaxation space is available in the Active Zone on the 5th floor. Visitors can take a break between playing in the outdoor and indoor facilities, look at the photos they have taken, and talk with each other. The space has been reborn as a more relaxing space with new partitions and sofa seating that ensure a sense of privacy. In addition, a footbath has been newly installed on the lawn in front of the Yunesan building. The entrance is now more conveniently located with enhanced facilities such as Hakone Tourism Information (Hakone DMO Digital Tourist Information Center), a mobile exhibit by Shizuoka Prefecture’s Shimoda Underwater Aquarium, and a convenience store. Diagonally across Route 1, the Hakone Hotel Kowakuen will open on July 12. Hotel guests can use Yunessan and Morinoyu free of charge, and can freely come and go for meals and shopping during their stay and enjoy themselves at Yunessan.
