Did you know that the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel’s Kanna restaurant actually has an excellent eel menu that fans look forward to every year? July 30, the day of the Ox will soon be upon us! So let’s check it out right away.
The “Unagi Kabayaki and Edamame Cocotte Rice with Earl Grey-Scented Bonito Dashi” (9,000 yen), available from July 1 to September 30, is a limited menu item available only during lunch hours.
Inside the cocotte is fluffy and carefully cooked rice, and a hearty portion of kabayaki eel! The visual is enough to whet one’s appetite.
With approximately 1.5 cups of rice, or about 4 cups of rice, this dish can be finished by one person or shared by two, making it the perfect summery lunchtime treat at the Tokyo Disney Resort. The condiments are also available in a variety of flavors, from the classic sansho (Japanese pepper) to a refreshing Earl Grey-flavored bonito broth.
Advance reservations are required for this menu. Call the restaurant at least three days in advance to place your order. Priority Seating is also required, so don’t forget to call and make reservations in advance.
