Tokyu Resorts & Stay will reopen Tokyu Stay Shibuya (8-14 Shinsen-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on August 1.
Tokyu Stay Shibuya, which opened in January 1999, has undergone a complete renovation of all floors. Bathrooms have been renovated, and all guest rooms are equipped with a washer/dryer, refrigerator-freezer, microwave oven, and mini-kitchen. In addition, to meet the demand of groups of overseas tourists, a residential family room that can accommodate up to six people is also available.
Single rooms are equipped with a 1600 mm wide double bed that can accommodate two persons. Triple rooms (for three persons) and force rooms (for four persons) are available in a variety of room configurations.
A new trunk room is located in the lobby lounge. Large luggage such as suitcases and golf bags can be left in the trunk room, allowing for more spacious use of the room.
Stay Morning” (breakfast in guestrooms) is also planned, a service that prepares breakfast that can be cooked in the guestroom’s microwave oven. Guests can choose between Japanese or Western-style meals, which can be heated and eaten at their preferred time.
A new terrace on the rooftop of the 9th floor overlooks the peaceful landscape in the quiet Shinsen area.
In addition, as part of its SDGs efforts, the company plans to produce futons made from recycled down and to give away special goods and original novelties made from curtains and chairs that were scheduled to be discarded to new members of the Tokyu Stay App.
In addition, a special Japanese “Wa” themed event will be held to celebrate the reopening. The event will be held from August 1 to 6. Tatami mats and Byeong-byeong-style decorations will be provided, Tokyo’s local sake, craft beer, and soft drinks will be served, and dancing will be performed by Geisha (traditional Japanese entertainers).
