This time, photographer and film director Yoshiyuki Okuyama has created a variety of images of the Disney friends, ranging from a festive 40th anniversary piece to a fantastic work of art.
Tokyo Disney Resort has unveiled a new photography project, Imagining the Magic.
The first installment features artistic works of afterimages and Mickey Mouse.
The new film was created based on three concepts, including works shot with a film camera by photographer/video director Yoshiyuki Okuyama. Just looking at the momentary gestures and expressions of the Disney friends will bring back the excitement of visiting the parks.
The first series, on sale from October 19, features merchandise that captures the emotional moments that afterimages can provide. The visuals feature Disney’s friends in special 40th anniversary costumes, their figures seeming to float against a black background. The images were shot using a technique called “slow synchronization.
There will also be an A4 size clear holder perfect for storing small documents and a mirror for daily makeup use. There are also “leisure sheets” and “T-shirts” that can be used for relaxation or at the park.
Also available as a collectible item is a 2L photo, one portrait of each of the eight characters, making it a great collectible for fans.
There is also an art panel. They look great not only in your room but also in your living room. This item includes one each of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
