Tokyo Midtown Yaesu (2-2-1 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is holding a summer evening event, “Yaesu Night Market,” on the first floor Galleria (outdoor plaza). The event will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) until August 27, and admission is free.
This “festival in the heart of Tokyo” is directly connected to the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, making it easy to drop by without worrying about getting wet in a sudden rainstorm. The festival offers a variety of food such as Edomae tempura, spicy Sri Lankan curry, Turkish mackerel sandwiches, and craft beers that change weekly, as well as sweets such as colorful cotton candy and cool fruit parfaits.
On the stage, there will be music by young artists and DJs who are active on the world stage, and performances of traditional Japanese arts with a modern twist. During the final week of the festival, from August 25 to 27, fair stalls will be set up, where visitors can enjoy a thousand drawings and target practice.
During the period, visitors in yukata or jinbei will receive novelty gifts, in-hotel menu services, and other special offers.
