The Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards are held once a year, and this year, the 8th annual event, four of JICA’s overseas investment projects received the “Deal of the Year” award. Mr. Kota Yasumura, Director of the Department in charge of the formation of overseas investment and loan projects, attended the awards ceremony.

These award-winning projects are expected to spur private investment in similar projects in various sectors and regions, and will also contribute to the acceleration of sustainable infrastructure investment as model cases for future projects.

JICA will continue to expand its sustainable finance activities and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), including climate change mitigation, in developing countries through further collaboration with various partner institutions.
