Restaurants at Disney Hotels are also preparing limited-edition menus with Halloween-inspired colors and seasonal ingredients to coincide with the event. This time, we will introduce the “Disney Halloween” Empire Grill Dinner (13,300 yen) at the Disney Ambassador Hotel’s Empire Grill.
Tokyo Disney Resort, currently celebrating its 40th anniversary year, will hold “Disney Halloween” from September 15 to October 31!
Delicacies come one after another, from the meat, which boasts of its particular grilling quality, to seasonal vegetables!
The “Disney Halloween Empire Grill Dinner,” which is being offered through October 31, features a variety of seasonal flavors, including meat dishes that are sure to please, and plenty of seasonal ingredients.
From the three appetizers, this time I chose the Pork Confit with Black Bean Salad and Grilled Eggplant Purée, the pork cooked at low temperature for 3-4 hours is tender enough to be easily loosened. The grilled eggplant purée with lime, herbs, garlic, and a gusto of flavor gave the impression of being a hearty appetizer that could easily be a main course. As is typical of California cuisine, black beans are plentiful. The fried Brussels sprouts are also outstanding.
Next, the main course is “Grilled Beef Sirloin”. The meat is grilled to an exquisite degree of doneness and weighs approximately 200 grams, making it a very satisfying dish! The sirloin in its best condition is served with condiments (homemade BBQ sauce, Taimania mustard, and the restaurant’s specialty chimichurri), adding to the enjoyment of eating it while exploring your favorite flavors.
The grilled vegetables to go with it vary from day to day. The éclat de gratin is made with mashed potatoes and lots of cheese! The freshly baked and hot food is only available at the Empire Grill!
Dessert is “Chestnut Tiramisu with Apricot Sorbet”. The plate decorated with Mickey Mouse and the 2023 logo is so cute that you can’t help but smile when it arrives. Leaves dancing in the autumn breeze are also depicted on the plate.
On the side, two flavors of Peropero candy-imaged chocolate are available for seasonal fruits such as Shine Muscat and Kyoho grapes. Turn it over and you’ll find a little gimmick at ……. And if you lift up the sorbet cone, you will find a gimmick here as well! Please taste and enjoy.
The course also includes an amuse bouche, soup, and coffee or tea, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely two-hour meal. In addition, an “original charm” (limited quantity) will be presented. The swinging charm is extremely cute.
