Kyoto Tango Railway, operated by WILLER TRAINS, will hold a “Stacked Stamp Rally” to tour the 114-km-long Kyoto Tango Railway. The period is from September 23 to March 31, 2024.
When all the stamps at five stations (Toyooka, Amanohashidate, Miyazu, Nishi-Maizuru, and Fukuchiyama) are stamped, the pictures of three sightseeing trains of Kyoto Tango Railway, “Tango Kuro-Matsu-go”, “Tango Akamatsu-go” and “Tango Aomatsu-go” will appear. Also, if you get stamps from all five stations, you will receive a limited-edition “Tango Kuromatsu-go and Tango Akamatsu-go Choro-Q set”.
There are a total of 18 types of stamp mounts. The front of the stamps feature designs of tourist attractions near the station, and the back has descriptions of the station and tourist attractions.
The distribution points are at the ticket gates of 15 stations (Toyooka, Amanohashidate, Miyazu, Nishi Maizuru, Fukuchiyama, Tango Yura, Kurita, Oe, Yosano, Kyotango Omiya, Mineyama, Amino, Yuhigaura-Kizu Onsen, Kotenbashi, Kumihama) and on three tourist trains.
