Ryohin Keikaku will reopen MUJI Shinjuku (Shinjuku Piccadilly, B1-2F, 3-15-15 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) on October 13 as MUJI Shinjuku Yasukuni Dori, specializing in clothing.
This is MUJI’s first store specializing in clothing. The store offers an overwhelming number of items, including “MUJI Labo” items that are not restricted by age or gender, limited-edition items, and items that are on prior sale, as well as a large number of mannequins that offer easy-to-use coordination in daily life.
The store also offers a private fitting room where customers can try on a large number of clothes, styling consultation by professional staff, and personal color diagnosis.
The theme of this renewal is “waste-free renewal,” and the fixtures and fittings that were used before the renovation are recycled and reused. The store will also offer products made from recycled materials such as scraps from the production process, unused threads, and collected clothing.
The “Café & Meal MUJI” will remain open with 10 more seats, and from October 13 to 23, a limited menu featuring a combination of “Shinjuku Nakamuraya’s Beef Curry” and “MUJI’s Butter Chicken Curry” will be available to commemorate the reopening.
