Ibaraki Prefecture will hold a bushcraft event at the “Hana Yasato Yama” glamping facility (139 Shimoaoyanagi, Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) in the Ibaraki Flower Park, where visitors can roast and eat “manga meat” made from brand-name beef “Hitachiniku beef” and brand-name pork “Hitachinoku no shining”. The event will be held at “Manga Meat” restaurant (139 Shimoayanagi, Ishioka, Ibaraki).
The exhibition will be held on October 8, 9, 21, and 22 (10:45am – 2:15pm). Each day will be limited to 8 groups, with a maximum of 5 people per group (one experience per group).
Each pair of participants will receive a bushcraft knife. Participants will be able to experience the inconvenience of primitive times when people lived with a minimum of tools by making their own hangers from tree branches and rope tripods for hanging meat, and making fires by hand.
Applications are accepted from the website until two days prior to the event date. Participation fee is 4,750 yen per couple (not including park entrance fee), payable at the site on the day of the event.
