Mitsui Fudosan announced the opening of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLa Terrace TOKYO- BAY (2-2-1 Wakamatsu, Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture), a lifestyle-type commercial facility directly connected to JR Minami Funabashi Station, on November 29.
A total of 36 stores will open, mainly in lifestyle convenience categories, including “Café Amazon,” Thailand’s largest coffee chain, the first in the Kanto area, and “Yakiniku DINING YAMATO,” the first directly operated butcher store in a shopping center.
In addition to a dog run and playground, the site will also feature a large plaza of approximately 5,000 m2 where various events such as food festivals and public viewing of sports events will be held.
The food court with approximately 320 seats will house five restaurants: Yamatotei, a new type of restaurant specializing in coarsely ground hamburgers; Dotonbori Kanza, a ramen store; JOTO CURRY, the first curry store in Chiba Prefecture; Hanbizen, a healthy Korean restaurant; and Mister Donut.
Digital signage in the food court allows visitors to watch games of the local professional basketball team, the Chiba Jets, and on fine days, they can buy takeout menus from each restaurant and eat on the terrace or outdoor plaza.
