Kyoritsu Maintenance, which operates the “Dormy Inn” business hotel, opened “Beppu Hattu Oyado Nono Beppu” in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, on October 17.
Oyado Nono is a premium Japanese-style hotel with tatami mats throughout, and is the first hotel to open in the Kyushu area. 269 guest rooms are located within a 1-minute walk from Beppu Station on the JR Nippo Main Line.
Based on the motif of “Beppu Hatto,” the generic name for the eight hot spring villages in Beppu, seven private baths and large baths are available, each with a spatial design reminiscent of a different hot spring village, such as Kannawa Onsen and Kamegawa Onsen. The large baths feature rock baths made of Beppu and Amakusa stones, a spacious high-temperature sauna equipped with self-launching equipment for both men and women, and a water bath with a depth of 90 cm.
For breakfast, more than 80 Japanese and Western buffet dishes will be served, including seafood boatloads and local delicacies such as “Toriten” (chicken tempura), “Yaseuma” (fried fish), “Nakatsu-style fried chicken”, “Hita Yakisoba” and “Dango Jiru” (rice dumpling soup).
Rates will start at 13,600 yen per person per room for a double room and 9,600 yen per person per room for a double room as a commemorative plan for the opening.
