A perfect recreation of the classic Disney movie menu! I tried to make “that dish” from “The Tale of the Dog and Doggie” to enjoy on the weekend.

The first item released on October 20 was the “Meatball Spaghetti” from the movie “A Doggie Tale. Many fans must have watched the romantic date scene between Lady and the Tramp and thought, “I want to try that spaghetti! We got this long-awaited item for those fans and tried to make it right away.

The Disney Store has launched a new series, Disney Food and Movies! The series is already generating a lot of buzz for its ability to easily recreate the delicious-looking menus from Disney’s classic films.

It is at the Italian restaurant “Tony’s Restaurant” that Lady, who got into trouble and went out while her husband was away, has her first date with Trump. The “Meatball Spaghetti” is a recreation of the dish that appears in that one scene.

The Dog and Doggie Tales” is an animated film released in 1955. It is the story of Lady, a cocker spaniel dog, who meets and falls in love with Tramp, a stray dog with a brave nature who wanders into her yard.

Easy to prepare, just boil pasta and warm up the sauce! You can easily try to recreate the menu!

First up is the “Chicken Meatball Pasta Sauce” (900 yen). The package depicts Lady and Tramp from “Wan Wan Monogatari” looking at each other in front of a plate of meatball pasta. 1 can weighs approximately 200g, 1-1.5 servings.

The sauce is tomato-based with just the right amount of acidity and has an all-around flavor that is delicious on its own or can be arranged. Of course, three meatballs, indispensable for that scene in the movie, are also included.

Then prepare the “Fresh Pasta” (700 yen). It comes in a box, giving it a luxurious feel! The back of the box includes instructions on how to boil fresh pasta. The package is just as cute as the sauce.

The standard for boiling is 1 liter per 120 grams of noodles. No salt is added, and the noodles are placed directly into the hot water while unraveling. It takes 2 minutes for al dente noodles and 3 minutes for softer ones; it is nice to be able to shorten the time with the fast-boiling type.

In order to recreate a scene from the movie, the pasta was made longer than usual. Each box contains 240 grams of fresh pasta noodles, enough for approximately two servings.

Boil quickly, drain water thoroughly, then invert into a bowl. Add the warmed pasta sauce. By the way, it is important to separate the meatballs when mixing to prevent them from falling apart & to make them easier to serve.

Once evenly mixed, let’s start serving. We found that the “meatball spaghetti” in the movie is served surprisingly flat. However, we will add height while also considering appearance.

The meatballs are balanced on top, and the rest of the sauce is poured over the meatballs to complete “the dish” from “Wan Wan Monogatari”! The dish was ready to cook and serve in less than 10 minutes!

Movie-style rice reproductions are all the rage on social networking sites and short videos, and this one is easy. This is easy to try, isn’t it? The meatballs are three in number, so if two people eat the meatballs together, be sure to give the last one to your loved one, just like in the movie.

As a table setting element, we used the “luncheon mat” (1,600 yen), which was released at the same time. The size is 44 x 44 cm (length x width), which is large and very easy to use!

Moreover, it is the same checkered pattern as that tablecloth that was laid on the table at “Tony’s Restaurant” where the two animals visited! Furthermore, it is designed with the restaurant’s sign and the kissing scene from …… if you were eating pasta.

Placing plates on the luncheon mat creates the visual illusion of a visit to “Tony’s Restaurant.

I ate the spaghetti immediately! The spaghetti was a great taste and the sauce was delicious. The meatballs were large, juicy, and very satisfying.

The tomato sauce with its tartness is easy for children to eat and has a gentle flavor, so why not enjoy the process of making this dish with your family or loved ones?
