Hankyu Corporation will hold a project from November 1 to 30 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the relocation of Osaka Umeda Station to its current location and its opening on November 23.
During the period, photo panels depicting the history of the station will be displayed in the Central West Plaza on the first floor of Osaka Umeda Station, and commemorative admission tickets in sets of three will be sold at each information counter (510 yen, until the 23rd). Commemorative trains with a commemorative head mark and posters showing the history of the station will be operated on the Kobe, Takarazuka, and Kyoto lines, with one train per line.
On the opening day, November 23, events will also be held at the station. At the plaza outside the ticket gate, there will be a stage event, a photo session with uniforms for children, and commemorative admission tickets and goods for sale. Inside the ticket gates, visitors will be able to experience a conductor’s broadcast inside a train stopped on the No. 6 line, and commemorative stamps will be placed at three locations. Some of the commemorative goods will also be available at the online store “HANKYU DENSHA SHOP” from the same day.
