Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.

JAL’s booth displayed economy class seats from the new Airbus A350-1000, JAL’s new international aircraft scheduled to be introduced by the end of this year.

Visitors can actually touch and sit on seats equipped with a variety of features, such as generous legroom with a seat pitch of approximately 84 to 86 cm, a 13-inch 4K monitor with powerful images, AC power supply and USB port Type-A/C installed in all seats, and a large table for comfortable dining, to test the comfort of the seats. You can try out the comfort of the seats by touching and sitting on them.

The route of introduction is the Haneda-New York route (JL005/006). The aircraft will have a total of 239 seats, including 6 first class seats, 54 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 155 economy seats. The interior design is based on the A350-900 aircraft already in service on domestic routes and the Boeing 787-8 aircraft used on domestic routes, and is designed with an awareness of traditional Japanese beauty.

The booth also featured an eye-catching life-size panel of Shohei Otani of the Angels with the message “Let’s fly away, to the world! and a life-size panel of Shohei Otani of the Angels will make a conspicuous appearance. Visitors can enjoy taking commemorative photos with the panel.
