Taiwan Tourism Association, Bibi Bibi! A mini-game and neon sign making experience that will electrify you. You can also taste freshly baked Taiwan sponge cake!

Posted on 2023-11-01 by Editor in Chief

Tourism Expo Japan 2023 Osaka-Kansai, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City) for four days from October 26 to 29.

The Taiwan Tourism Association’s booth is marked by a Taiwanese-style neon sign, and the 2023 tourism promotion “Vivi Vivi! Taiwan,” the catchphrase for the event, the booth is promoting its attractions by setting up a corner with interesting experiences and mini-games that will send electric shocks through the air.

For example, the game is to reach the goal within a time limit of 60 seconds along a mountain path with panels in the motif of 3952-meter-high Yushan (Jade Mountain) so that the chili stick does not touch the path. Upon completion of the game, a bookmarker of a Taiwanese flower called “Jade Mountain Stone Bamboo” will be awarded as a prize.

At the neon signboard production corner, visitors can create their own original neon signboard using colorful EL wire, which is both energy-efficient and flexible neon tube. This is recommended as a memorable part of your visit to the Taiwan booth.

There will also be a corner where visitors can taste freshly baked Taiwanese sponge cakes, a stamp rally where a total of 1,800 people will win hotel room and meal coupons and Taiwanese goods, and stage performances by popular cheerleaders from Taiwan.

By the way, “bibi-bibi! Taiwan” is made up of the four “Bi” words, meaning “beautiful scenery,” “beautiful people,” “delicious food,” and “good quality. The exhibition will offer visitors the opportunity to experience a wide variety of Taiwan’s attractions, from its popular tourist spots to its hidden local food.
