JAL launched the “JAL Mileage Bank Application (JMB Application),” which consolidates member services and the “JAL Pay” payment service.
The JMB application allows users to use their digital membership card and check the number of miles they have. The application also lists member services for “accumulating” and “using” miles, and provides easy access to airline ticket reservations, award ticket redemption, online stores, hometown tax payment, and more.
In addition, JAL Pay, a payment service with no annual fee, is available, and with the launch of the JMB app, touch payments such as Apple Pay and QUICPay+ and online payments with virtual cards are supported. The minimum mileage charge requirement has been lowered from 3,000 to 500 miles. The company plans to add support for recharging using credit cards and other payment methods in the future.
In addition, a release commemorative campaign will be held to earn miles and JAL Pay points for downloading the application and setting up and using “JAL Pay” and “JAL NEOBANK”.
