S.RIDE, News Technology, and Kabuki-za launched the “Super Kabuki-za Super (Super) Ride Pack” on November 13, which includes cab transportation to the Kabuki-za and tickets to the performance. In addition, a limited number of 10 “Super Kabuki Taxis” will be in operation from November 27 to December 2.
The “Cho-Kabuki-za Super Ride Pack” will be sold to commemorate the performance of Cho-Kabuki Powered by NTT “Hanakurabe Senbonzakura” featuring Shido Nakamura and Miku Hatsune. The package includes first-class tickets to the performance, transportation from Tokyo’s 23 wards, Musashino and Mitaka areas to the Kabuki-za in a “Cho-Kabuki Taxi” (outbound only), a special card commemorating the ride, and a drawing for Kabuki related goods.
Fares start at ¥20,950 per person for a two-person ride. Options include a “Kimono Dressing Experience Plan” to view the performance in kimono and a “Tea Time Option” to enjoy a cake set at Hotel Granbach Tokyo Ginza after the performance.
The “Cho-Kabuki Taxi” is a special wrapped cab that allows passengers to enjoy the world of Cho-Kabuki. Promotional videos of “Konjaku Feast: Senbonzakura” will be shown inside the taxi. Riders who make reservations through the “S.RIDE” cab app will receive a commemorative card in limited quantities.
Cho-Kabuki Powered by NTT “Konjaku Kyoyo Senbonzakura” is the first part and second act of the December Grand Kabuki, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Kabuki-za Theater’s new opening, and will be performed from December 3 to 26. Performers include Nakamura Shido, Hatsune Miku, and others.
The performance is inspired by the world of the Kabuki masterpiece “Yoshitsune Senbonzakura” and “Senbonzakura,” the signature song of virtual singer Hatsune Miku, and has been performed at theaters across Japan, including “Nico Nico Cho-Kaigi 2016.
