Mori Building will relocate and open the “Mori Building Digital Art Museum: Epson TeamLab Borderless” to Azabudai Hills in early February 2024.
TeamLab Borderless opened in Odaiba in June 2018 as a “museum without a map” and closed in August 2022 due to relocation.
The facility, which will open in early February 2024, will feature two world premieres, “Bubble Universe” and “Megalith Crystal Formation.
In “Bubble Universe,” the exhibition space is filled with countless groups of spheres. Various types of light spheres interact with each other, creating a mixture of light phenomena.
In “Megalith Crystal Formation,” various artworks that make up the TeamLab Borderless world move from room to room. In one of these works, “Flowers and People – Megalith Crystal Formation (work in progress),” petals are born and die in response to visitors’ movements.
