Toei Bus announced a tie-up with the Shiki Theatre Company’s Disney musical “The Lion King,” which will celebrate its 25th anniversary in Japan on December 20.
Posters and videos showing the convenience and attractiveness of the metropolitan buses will be used to appeal to users. The theater is accessible by a single bus from Tokyo Station and Ginza. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from the main bus stop “Ariake 2-chome” and about 2 minutes on foot from “Ariake Garden” to the exclusive theater “Ariake Shiki Gekijo”. In addition, a direct bus service to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station is currently available in conjunction with the end of evening performances.
For the tie-up, tie-up posters will be submitted and flyers distributed on Toei buses and in Toei subway stations and trains. Digital signage will be placed near the ticket gates of Hibiya Station on the Toei Mita Line, and area jack ads will be placed on the escalator wall near Yoyogi Station at Shinjuku Station on the Toei Oedo Line. The video will be shown on signage inside Toei buses and Toei subways from December 11 to 24.
Two wrapped buses will also run in Tokyo from December 1 to March 31, 2024. The area where the buses will be running on that day can be checked on the Tokyo Metropolitan Bus Information Service.
