Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen releases a special movie celebrating the first anniversary of its opening. Documenting the “GO WEST” events along the line, including the washing of the seagull.

JR Kyushu has released the “GO WEST” special movie, a project to mark the first anniversary of the opening of the West Kyushu Shinkansen Line.

The project, which took place on September 23, exactly one year after the opening of the Shinkansen line, includes the “GO MARU-ARAI” event to wash the whole seagull, the “GO OMATSURI” festival at five stations along the West Kyushu Shinkansen line, and the sale of “GO NORI-HODAI” T-shirt tickets for unlimited rides around the five stations.
