Imperial Enterprises has launched the Seiko x Limited Express Romance Car VSE Memorial Watch (¥54,780) at the PREMICO online store.
The “Limited Express Romance Car VSE (Type 50000)” was completely retired on December 10. The dial is inspired by the silky white body of the “White Romance Car,” and is decorated with an orange band called “Vermilion Stream” as an additional color.
The motifs of the driver’s seat, observation window, and headlights on the front of the train are incorporated throughout, and the back of the watch is engraved with an edition number, a proof of the limited edition of 5,000 pieces. The chronograph model is a quartz wristwatch with stopwatch function, 24-hour hand, and calendar function.
Materials are stainless steel for the case, caseback, and band, and curved hardlex for the windshield. The case measures approximately 47 x 39.8 x 12.8 mm (length x width x thickness), with a wrist circumference of approximately 14 cm for the S size, 16 cm for the M size, and 18 cm for the L size. The watch is water resistant to 10 atmospheres and comes with a one-year quality warranty.
The product will be packaged in a special wood-grain box inspired by the VSE’s luxurious interior, and is scheduled to ship in mid-July 2024.
