The fastest advance sales for tickets to the Tokyo performance of the “‘Disney Fantasia’ Live Orchestra Concert,” which is scheduled to be held in five cities across Japan in 2024, will begin at 10:00 a.m. on December 23, 2012.
The Tokyo concert, which will kick off the national tour, will be held at NHK Hall, with S seats priced at 9,800 yen and A seats at 6,800 yen. The concert will be held on March 24, 2024, and is scheduled to begin at 16:00.
At the performance, you will be able to enjoy the live orchestra and the movie “Fantasia” together. Highlights include “Dukas: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (1940 & 2000),” a memorable scene featuring Mickey Mouse in a sorcerer’s hat and a broomstick, a familiar sight and sound to all Disney fans.
The audience will also be able to view impressive scenes from the film “Fantasia” with powerful performances of “Tchaikovsky Nutcracker Suite (1940),” “Respighi: Pines of Rome (2000),” and “Elgar: Dignity and Majesty (2000). Shinpei Sasaki will conduct all performances, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra will play the wind instruments for the Tokyo performance.
In addition to Tokyo, the event will be held in Sapporo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Hyogo.
