Osaka-Sakai Outing Pass” for ICOCA on sale. Unlimited travel on JR West, Nankai Bus and Hankai Railway within the area.

Posted on 2023-12-242024-01-03 by Editor in Chief

JR West will sell the “Osaka-Sakai Outing Pass (Go with ICOCA)” from December 25 to March 24, 2024 (available from January 6). This is in conjunction with the “Chotto Kansai Rekishi Tabi” (a little bit of Kansai history travel) in Sakai City, where historical-themed events will be held and introduced.

This product includes a JR West free ticket that can be used with ICOCA and a “Sakai Omotenashi Ticket (Nankai Bus Expanded Version)” that allows unlimited rides on Nankai Buses and Hankai Electric Railway within the designated area, and can be purchased through the “KANSAI MaaS” application. The price is 1,000 yen.

JR tickets are “ICOCA de GO” type, so they can only be used with ICOCA registered in the “KANSAI MaaS” application. When boarding, the fare amount of the boarding section will be deducted once, and the fare within the free area will be cashed back as WESTER points exclusively for recharging at a later date.

The “Sakai Omotenashi Ticket” is a paper ticket that must be exchanged in advance by presenting the app screen at the designated ticket counter. When redeeming the ticket, you will receive an original clear file as well as original goods from Nankai Bus or Hankai Railway (limited quantities available).
