Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo (1-104-19 Totsukacho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) is offering a limited number of subscriptions to the “Premium Whiskey Passport” (30,000 yen per person), which allows guests to taste whiskeys including rare brands.
The Whiskey Passport, which was implemented in 2022 and was well received, has now been upgraded to a premium version in collaboration with the lifestyle magazine LEON.
In addition to the two subscripted domestic whiskeys designated at the hotel’s first-floor “Cellar Bar” (one of each of two types per day), one brand recommended by the LEON editorial staff (your choice of “Ballantine 30 Years Old” or “Glenfarclas 30 Years Old”) will be served once only as a half shot.
The whisky lineup varies depending on the period of passport use, and the desired one can be applied for by making a reservation by phone (03-5285-1121). The sales period is set from December 25 to January 31, 2024, but will be limited to the first 30 customers and will end as soon as they are gone.
