From February 14 to March 14, weekdays only, unlimited one-day rides on ordinary and rapid trains, Shinkansen and limited express trains in the free area, as well as on BRT (Bus Rapid Transit system).
If you make seat reservations in advance via Ekinet or reserved-seat ticket vending machines, you can board Shinkansen and limited express trains up to twice; if you board three or more times or use a train without seat reservations, you must purchase an express ticket separately.
The sales period is from 1 month to 14 days before the start date of use (January 14 to February 29). If not used, the start date can be changed only once, but even after the change, it must be within the usage period and at least 14 days prior to the start date of use.
The lines covered are all JR East lines (including parts of Tohoku, Yamagata, Akita, Joetsu and Hokuriku Shinkansen lines and BRT), Aoimori Railway line, Iwate Galaxy Railway line, Sanriku Railway line, Hoetsu Kyuko line, and Echigo Tokimeki Railway line (between Naoetsu and Arai).
The Hokuriku Shinkansen between Joetsu Myoko and Kanazawa and the Hokkaido and Tokaido Shinkansen are not eligible. In addition, only for the interchange between Shin-Aomori and Aomori on the Ou Main Line, passengers may use empty seats in ordinary cars when boarding ordinary/rapid trains that have all reserved seats.
