Mitsui Fudosan has set March 1 as the opening date for Mitsui Shopping Park LaLa Terrace HARUMI FLAG (5-2-31 Harumi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a lifestyle-type commercial facility.
Located a 16-minute walk from Kachidoki Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line, it is within the Harumi Flag (Harumi 5-chome West Urban Area Redevelopment Project Type 1) area, an urban development project on the former site of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games athletes village. The facility aims to be a “lifestyle-oriented facility” that will also serve as a hub for interaction in the Harumi area, including a sports pictogram that conveys the history of the Tokyo 2020 Games and an event space.
The facility consists of three floors above ground, one basement floor, and one tower floor, and will open with 40 stores, including the largest supermarket in Tokyo, “Summit Store,” and “TEAM JAPAN 2020 VILLAGE Cafe & Restaurant CENTRALE,” an authentic restaurant using GAP certified ingredients that were also served at the athletes’ village. The total floor space is approximately 11,100 m2 , and 40 stores, including four stores opening for the first time in Tokyo, will be open.
The first floor will feature the “Daily Market,” a food floor with Summit Store at its core; the second floor will feature “Daily Select,” a lineup of daily necessities and restaurants that support daily life; and the third floor will feature the “Wellbeing” theme, with health and learning schools, services, and clinics.
