U-CAN has released a beloved CD collection, “Jetstream OVER THE NIGHT SKY CDs in 10 volumes” (31,680 yen).
This is a compilation of 170 classic songs (163 stereo/7 monaural) from the FM radio program “Jetstream” provided by Japan Airlines, which began broadcasting in 1967 and has attracted many listeners, along with narration by the first personality, Tatsuya Shiro.
The recordings include a wide variety of mood music, film music, and classical music, such as “Koi wa mizuiro (Love is a light blue color),” “Charmaine,” and “Pearl of the Aegean Sea. The audience can enjoy performances by world-class artists such as Richard Clayderman on piano and Nini Rosso on trumpet, as well as prestigious orchestras such as the Paul Moriah Orchestra and the Mantovani Orchestra.
Two major appendices include an “Appreciation Guide” with commentary on all the songs and photos of nostalgic jumbo planes, and an original storage case in pale blue with an image of a nighttime flight.
In addition, until February 5, purchasers will receive an Aiwa portable CD player.
