OWL-TEC has begun general sales of the LED lantern “KOHAKU,” which was pre-sold on Makuake, a support purchase service.
KOHAKU, released under the company’s outdoor brand “ebi,” is an LED lantern that uses aurora borealis glass, which is highly transparent and has a luxurious feel. The color tones are all warm, creating a soothing aurora borealis color.
It is equipped with a “dimming mode” that allows stepless adjustment of brightness and a “flickering mode” that expresses the flickering of flames. The built-in battery allows for a long use time of approximately 8 to 250 hours in the “dimming mode”. It also has a USB Type-A output port, which can be used as a mobile battery.
A hand-knitted net is included as an accessory and can be hung from above. The special case is designed to open wide on the side so that the product itself can be taken out without touching the glass surface.
The unit is available in two colors, white and black, and is guaranteed for one year.
