Luup will revise the rates for its small mobility rental service “Luup” on March 1. The regular fee will again be unified to “basic fee 50 yen + 15 yen per minute.
In November 2023, the regular rate was set at “200 yen per 30 minutes” in the Tokyo, Kyoto, Yokohama, Kobe, Nagoya, and Hiroshima areas, but will return to the previous system in response to user feedback. There will be no change in rates for areas such as Utsunomiya and Beppu, which are exempt from the regular rates.
However, the “200 yen per 30 minutes” fee calculation will survive as a new subscriber plan for 980 yen per month. This plan will be available in the six areas listed above and the Osaka area from March. After this change, subscriber plans can be purchased within the application and will be automatically renewed.
