Oricon announced the results of a customer satisfaction survey on credit cards.
The survey was conducted online in three categories: “no annual fee,” “general,” and “gold. In addition, evaluations were also collected for nine categories (eight excluding “cost performance” for “no annual fee” only), including “ease of card creation” and “ease of use of website/application.
Sumitomo Mitsui Card Numberless (NL) ranked first overall in the “no annual fee” category. It ranked first in five categories, including “ease of card creation,” and was also rated No. 1 by men and women. On the other hand, “Rakuten PINK Card” was rated No. 1 by women and No. 2 overall. It also ranked first in three other categories, including points and miles.
In the “General” category, JAL CARD Normal Card ranked first in 7 out of 9 evaluation items, and also ranked first for both men and women, receiving a broad range of high evaluations. Sumitomo Mitsui Card” came in second overall, ranking first in “design” and “cost performance.
The first-place winner in the “Gold” category was the Sumitomo Mitsui Card Gold Numberless (NL). This card also ranked first in the seven evaluation items and first in the male category. It scored 77.9 points in the “full range of payment methods” category, which evaluates ease of use when making payments, the highest score among the seven evaluation items. The “Epos Gold Card” was ranked No. 2 overall and No. 2 for women, and No. 1 for “support system” in the evaluation items.
