Rakuten STAY, Inc. has begun accepting reservations for “Rakuten STAY FUJIMI TERRACE Hakone Ashinoko” (2-2, Mitsutani, Moto-Hakone, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), which will open on March 1.

Located about 6 minutes by car from the Ashinoko Taikan IC and about 3 minutes on foot from Motohakone Port on the Hakone Tozan Bus. The five-story building has a total of 24 rooms. The parking lot has a total of 30 spaces, and 4 EV chargers are installed.

All guest rooms overlook Lake Ashi, Mt. Fuji, and the “Heiwa no Torii” Hakone Shrine that stands on the lake. In addition, there will be a terrace with a footbath and barbecue, a half-open-air bath with natural hot spring water, and an astronomical telescope. Some guest rooms have saunas and outdoor bathing decks.

There are also eight guest rooms where you can stay with your dog, and cages, food bowls, pet sheets, and etiquette bags are always available. Seven of the rooms have a private garden with a foot-washing area, and a foot-washing area and leash hooks are available near the entrance on the first floor facing the shore of Lake Ashi.

For meals, a menu in collaboration with popular nearby restaurants will be offered. An overnight stay plan with an authentic French course is also available in the two suites on the top floor. Some products such as welcome sweets, drinks, and snacks are also available on Rakuten Ichiba.

The entrance and guest room doors of the facility are smart lock-compatible, allowing entry without human contact using a key number that is notified in advance. Check-in and check-out can be done from a tablet terminal in the room.

Rates start at 40,000 yen for a 2 double bed + sofa room, 44,000 yen for a dog friendly room, 60,000 yen for a 4 double bed room, and 80,000 yen for a suite.
