JR Tokai will hold a special event related to the “2024 FIA F1 World Championship Series MSC CRUISES Japanese Grand Prix Race (F1 Japanese Grand Prix)” to be held at Suzuka Circuit in April.
On April 3, a special group train, “Japan Grand Prix supported by Suzuka Circuit,” will operate between Tokyo and Nagoya Stations on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line. The train will feature a variety of events for F1 fans, including a talk event with former F1 drivers Satoru Nakajima and Aguri Suzuki. Since both the opening of the Tokaido Shinkansen and the 60th anniversary of Honda’s participation in F1, can badges depicting the Shinkansen Series 0 and the Honda RA271 F1 car will be given to passengers. On the following day, April 4, a special group train will run from Nagoya Station to Suzuka Circuit Inau Station.
These will be released as travel products by JR Tokai Tours, and details will be announced on the company’s website. As a special offer, passengers using the above trains will be allowed to enter the “Thursday Pit Walk” and “Thursday Straight Walk” at Suzuka Circuit 15 minutes before the normal entrance time.
In addition, from March 30 to April 7, events related to the F1 Japanese Grand Prix will be held at the event space on the first floor of JR Gate Tower in Nagoya Station, including an exhibition of F1 cars and the showing of videos of past F1 Japanese Grand Prix races.
