Tokyo Disneyland will hold the special event “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition! from April 9 to July 31.
Space Mountain, a favorite since the park’s opening, will close on July 31, 2024 in time for a new incarnation in 2027. While enjoying the last space trip on the current “Space Mountain,” plenty of new merchandise will be available to add to the anticipation of the evolving attractions. The product will go on sale April 8 and will be available at Planet M.
Of these, the “Miniature Figure Collection” (1,600 yen for a single item, 6,400 yen for a set) and “Key Chain” (900 yen for a single item, 3,600 yen for a set) are the most noteworthy. The “Miniature Figure Collection” features figures based on motifs that guests who have experienced “Space Mountain” would recognize as “Ah! If you have experienced Space Mountain, you will recognize the motifs in the miniature figures. The base is also designed to look like the attraction. A total of four types with a secret set.
The next “Key Chain” features a hexagonal design plate depicting the logo, Mickey Mouse, the attraction exterior, and a spaceship floating on a station inside. There are a total of four types of keychains, each with a secret. All of them are must-have items for fans to complete.
