Niigata, Toyama, and Fukui prefectures will begin accepting reservations for “Hokuriku Ouenwari” plans from today, March 8 (reservations for Ishikawa Prefecture will be accepted after March 12).
The “Hokuriku Ouen Wari” program announced by the government will subsidize up to 50% of the travel price (accommodation products and accommodation travel products with transportation) for domestic and international visitors in order to restore tourism demand in the four Hokuriku prefectures that suffered a decline due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2024.
The program applies to stays between March 16 and April 26 (including check-out on April 27), and reservations can be made directly at participating lodging facilities, as well as through travel agencies and OTAs designated by each prefecture.
