Citizen Watch will release a collaboration model with Haruka Fukuhara, the image character of “wicca,” on March 14. The price is 42,900 yen. A limited number of 800 pieces will be sold.
This model is a solar-tech radio-controlled watch with a motif of a “sun catcher,” an interior decoration for a window. The white butterfly shell dial is decorated with cut crystal-like patterns and aurora borealis-colored crystals and indexes. The watch expresses the sparkle of a sun catcher, which attracts a variety of colors by the reflection of light. Regular battery replacement, time and date adjustment are not required. A limited-edition box with aurora-colored foil stamping is also included.
The replacement band is made of environmentally friendly ECOPET, and the color is light pink, chosen by Ms. Fukuhara herself. It can be enjoyed according to one’s mood or fashion.
The back of the watch is engraved with Fukuhara’s message, “Take it one day at a time. The message is intended to be a timepiece that gently accompanies you in your daily endeavors.
