JICA has been working to implement projects with environmental and social considerations by promulgating the Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations (the “Guidelines”) since April 2010, and in January 2022, the Guidelines (January 2022 version) were promulgated and became effective in April 2022. JICA has also established the Environmental and Social Consideration Advisory Committee as a third-party organization to obtain advice on the support and confirmation of environmental and social considerations in projects, and to receive expert advice.
The term of office of the Committee members will expire, and we are seeking members who can provide expert advice on JICA’s environmental and social considerations based on the Guidelines (hereinafter referred to as “Environmental and Social Considerations Advisory Committee Members”), as follows.
