AirAsia will launch three new routes between Japan and Taiwan: the Narita – Taipei/Taoyuan route on May 31, the Naha – Taipei/Taoyuan route on June 15, and the Narita – Kaohsiung route on June 16.
The Narita – Taoyuan route will be operated by AirAsia X using an Airbus A330 aircraft. The total number of seats is 377, including 12 premium flat-bed seats. The Naha – Taoyuan and Narita – Kaohsiung routes will be operated by Thai AirAsia using Airbus A320 aircraft. The total number of seats will be 180, including 42 hot seats.
The Narita – Taoyuan and Naha – Taoyuan routes will be operated daily, while the Narita – Kaohsiung route will be operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
In addition, to commemorate the opening of the three new routes, commemorative fare tickets will be on sale from March 19 to 31. Standard seats on the Narita – Taoyuan route are priced from 10,990 yen, standard seats on the Naha – Taoyuan route from 8,990 yen, and standard seats on the Narita – Kaohsiung route from 14,990 yen. The applicable boarding period is from May 31 to October 26.
