Sanrio to Launch Special Design Series for Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary! Including goods featuring a total of 50 characters and other nostalgic characters from the 1980s and 1990s.

Sanrio will release “Hello Kitty HELLO Minna. design series” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty! Design Series” will be released.

The lineup consists of a total of 29 items. The lineup includes plush toys (3,696 yen), mascot holders (8 types, 2,200 yen each), memo (660 yen) and sticker sets (792 yen) with 50 different characters, pouches (1980 yen) and tote bags (2,497 yen) with ribbon points, and 50 different acuta (440 yen each) and secret key chains (880 yen each). The lineup also includes a variety of fun items to see what will come out, such as an acuta (50 kinds, 440 yen each) and a secret key chain (10 kinds, 880 yen each).

Each item is specially designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary with a total of 50 characters from the Sanrio family, all wearing ear and ribbon catsuits and dressed as Kitty. Popular characters such as My Melody, Pochakko, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi, as well as characters from the 1980s and 1990s such as Rururu Gakuen and “Oume Grandma” from Umeya General Store, are also featured.

Sanrio Online Shop (main store, Rakuten Ichiba store, Yahoo! Shopping store) will start selling the products from April 4 at 10:00 a.m., and Sanrio stores nationwide and Sanrio corners in department stores will start selling them from April 5.

For the first seven days of any of these events, each person is limited to two of each character of each item (25 of each Secret Mini Acrylic Stand and 10 of each Secret Key Chain).

In addition, at the “MY SANRIO” customization service currently being offered at the main online store, “HELLO Minna! design” will be available at the online shop’s main store from 12:00 p.m. on April 17.

The “Acrylic Name Badge” (1,760 yen), “Flat Pouch” (3,520 yen), and “Card Holder” (3,080 yen) are available in three types, and you can make your own goods by combining specially designed art stamps of 50 characters, background colors, letters, and numbers.
