Keihin Electric Express Railway will open a complex facility with office/commercial/hotel/conference hall, etc. at the west exit of Shinagawa Station in 2029 as part of a development project around Shinagawa Station.

Keikyu Corporation will transfer a portion of the land at the west exit of Shinagawa Station to Toyota under a new agreement to jointly construct and operate a new complex. After completion, Toyota will acquire a portion of the offices in the building, and the new Tokyo headquarters is scheduled to open in 2029, with construction scheduled to begin in FY2025.

The site area is approximately 23,600 m2 and the total floor area is approximately 313,100 m2. The building will have 29 floors above ground and 4 floors below ground, with a height of approximately 160 m.

As for the west exit of Shinagawa Station, the Urban Renaissance Agency’s “Shinagawa Station West Exit Land Readjustment Project” was approved by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in June 2023, and the land was designated as provisional land in February this year.
