Seibu Bus adds JCB and 5 other brands to touch-sensitive payment system for airport connecting buses (Tokorozawa-Haneda route)

Posted on 2024-03-252024-04-02 by Editor in Chief

Seibu Bus, JCB, Reship, and QUADRAC will expand the number of touch payment brands for airport connecting buses operated by Seibu Bus (Tokorozawa Haneda Route). In addition to the Visa cards currently supported, JCB/American Express/Diners Club/Discover/UnionPay cards will be newly added on March 29.

Only flights from Tokorozawa to Haneda Airport are eligible. Flights departing from the airport and flights operated by joint carriers are not eligible, even if they are on the same route.

Passengers can board the train simply by holding up a card that is compatible with the touch-settlement system of the respective company, or a smartphone with the card installed, over the dedicated reader terminal in the train.
